With the light of Swami’s advice in your hearts, you can proceed on life’s journey for any length of time. Remember with love God, who is everything.

Tina Schweickert

Tina first met Swami in 1995 and has served in various roles within the Sai organization: Center President, Region 6 YA Advisor, Region 6 Vice-President, and a member on the SSSIO Environmental Sustainability Committee. She is grateful to Swami for helping her serve in one aspect of His divine mission: to raise human consciousness about our proper role with Nature. She began preparing for this work before meeting Baba through her education in environmental science and environmental history and then working in environmental policy as a watershed coordinator and natural resources manager with state and local government in Oregon. Now retired, she devotes time to writing and publishing environmental and spiritual books, some written by other Sai devotees, volunteers with environmental organizations, and works on her family farm and wildlife preserve. Tina wrote the book Tread Softly in 2005 as a way to research, understand, and put into practice His extensive teachings on spirituality and Nature.
